Streamline provides assistance to developers in a wide range of areas, including consulting on proposed building locations, building massing, schematics, subdivision site layout and creation of subdivision design guideline materials for log and timber home builders.
Engineering
To ensure that our log home designs are durable, meet all safety standards and requirements, and are built efficiently, we maintain close working relationships with structural engineers. Streamline Design is proud to have Jorge Silva, P Eng. on our staff. Jorge is licensed in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Yukon, and works closely with our design team to ensure your home will be structurally sound. For log home projects outside of British Columbia, we have excellent relationships with licensed engineer associates throughout North America.
Interior Design
Although we don’t provide interior design services exclusively, we have developed strategic partnerships with two interior log and timber frame home designers. Together we provide a full array of services for designing and executing your interior custom log and timber frame house plans along with the building of your new home.
Sustainability
Streamline Design, Ltd. is recognized as being one of the top design firms to have incorporated green building practices into the designs of our log and timber frame homes. We encourage ‘Green’ building techniques and standards in all our log and timber frame plans. Our Principal Designer, Kevin Simoes RBD, is a LEED accredited professional, and can help plan and register your green project.
